Become part of a powerful local movement to revitalize rural areas and strengthen community life in Medina del Campo, Spain! Hosted by Asociación DESES-3, the European Volunteering vs Depopulation 4.0 project invites young Europeans to engage in creative, social, and educational activities that promote inclusion, culture, and youth participation in small towns facing depopulation.

This initiative provides a rich intercultural volunteering experience where participants contribute to community development, education, and European mobility promotion — while discovering the warmth and authenticity of Spanish rural life. 🇪🇸✨

💪 What You Will Do

As a volunteer, you’ll take part in diverse, meaningful community actions coordinated by Asociación DESES-3:

• 💬 Support for People with Special Needs – Assist in inclusive activities for groups with special abilities.
• 💼 Entrepreneurship & Employment – Promote opportunities and local initiatives for young people.
• 🎭 Cultural Promotion – Help organise artistic events, exhibitions, and international collaborations.
• 👧 Children & Youth Activities – Lead educational games, workshops, and free-time activities.
• 🌍 EU Mobility Awareness – Promote European programmes like Erasmus+ and ESC through non-formal education.

Volunteers will experience daily collaboration with local organisations, schools, and youth spaces — turning creativity into community impact.

🏡 Accommodation, Meals & Transport

• 🏠 Accommodation: Provided and fully covered by the hosting organisation.
• 🍽️ Meals: Food costs are covered throughout the activity.
• 🚌 Transport: All necessary transport expenses within the project are covered.

You’ll live comfortably in shared volunteer housing within walking distance from activity venues, enjoying local cuisine and Spanish hospitality.

🎓 Training & Learning Support

• 🧭 On-arrival and pre-departure training by the Spanish National Agency.
• 🌐 Continuous mentoring and support from Asociación DESES-3 staff.
• 💬 Basic Spanish language support to help with integration and communication.

Volunteers will also receive personal guidance for reflection, learning outcomes, and future career planning through the Youthpass process.

👥 Volunteer Profile

We’re looking for enthusiastic, adaptable young people (aged 18–30) who are:

• 🌟 Open-minded, flexible, and eager to learn from daily experiences.
• 💡 Motivated to contribute to community life and social projects.
• 🤗 Interested in education, culture, and European programmes.
• 💬 Basic Spanish knowledge is appreciated, but not mandatory.
