Step into the heart of Palermo, Sicily, and join a meaningful European Solidarity Corps project led by Palma Nana Cooperative! 🇮🇹
This volunteering opportunity focuses on social engagement, inclusion, and education, empowering young people to take action for a more united and sustainable Europe. 🌍✨

Over four inspiring months, you’ll help design and carry out community-based initiatives that address social challenges, ecological awareness, and youth empowerment.
As a volunteer, you’ll:
🤝 Support local organizations working on social cohesion and inclusion
🌿 Promote environmental awareness through creative activities
🎓 Participate in non-formal education projects that empower marginalized groups
🏙️ Contribute to cultural and community events across Palermo

🏡 Accommodation, Food & Transport

• You’ll stay in shared double rooms in an apartment located in the historical center of Palermo — a lively area full of history and culture. 🏠
• A food allowance of €7/day will be provided via vouchers. 🍽️
• Local transport support: a bike or bus pass depending on your needs. 🚲🚌
• All arrangements are made to ensure comfort, safety, and easy access to project venues.

🧭 Training & Support

• You’ll take part in non-formal education sessions and community-based workshops.
• Continuous mentoring and project guidance will be provided by Palma Nana Cooperative.
• You’ll also participate in On-Arrival and Mid-Term Training organized by the Italian National Agency 🇮🇹.
• At the end of the project, you’ll receive a Youthpass Certificate recognizing your learning achievements and skills. 🎓

👩‍🤝‍👨 Participant Profile

We are looking for 4 motivated young volunteers who are:
✅ Aged 18–30 and nationals of EU/EEA countries
✅ Interested in social inclusion, ecology, and community development
✅ Open-minded, responsible, and creative
✅ Able to communicate in English (Italian is a plus!)
✅ Motivated to work in multicultural teams and local initiatives
