✨ Project Overview

Join A4ACTION – Asociația pentru Inițiative și Dezvoltare Continuă in Ghermănești, Snagov (Romania) for an unforgettable long-term ESC volunteering experience! 🌿
This project brings together motivated young people to create positive change in the local community through education, creativity, and civic engagement.

As part of the A4ACTION team, you’ll take part in non-formal learning activities, cultural events, environmental initiatives, and digital projects — all while developing your own personal and professional skills.

💡 What You’ll Do

• 👧 Organise interactive, non-formal activities for children at the A4ACTION Afterschool Program (English lessons, outdoor games, arts & crafts, personal development workshops)
• 🏫 Conduct workshops in local schools on civic engagement, environmental education, and digital skills
• 🎥 Create promotional videos to spread awareness about the ESC programme
• 💻 Contribute to developing the A4ACTION Online Youth Centre
• 🌍 Collaborate with local educators, volunteers, and youth groups to strengthen community participation

🏡 Accommodation, Food & Transport

• Accommodation shared with other international volunteers
• Pocket money and food allowance provided according to ESC guidelines
• Travel reimbursement (to and from Romania) based on Erasmus+ distance bands
• Medical insurance for the entire volunteering period (Henner Insurance Plan)

🎓 Training & Support

• On-arrival and mid-term training provided by the Romanian National Agency
• Internal workshops on non-formal education, facilitation, and youth work
• Continuous mentoring and support from A4ACTION staff
• Learning outcomes recognised through Youthpass Certificate

👤 Who Can Apply

We are looking for enthusiastic and responsible volunteers (aged 18–30) who are:

• Graduates of secondary school (or equivalent)
• Currently unemployed at the time of selection
• Friendly, communicative, and motivated
• Passionate about youth work, education, and social impact
• Confident in English and ready to engage with local communities
• Able to plan and lead small activities or workshops
