About the Opportunity
This European Solidarity Corps individual volunteering project is implemented by Active Bulgarian Society (ABS) and focuses on youth empowerment, sustainability, eco-friendly initiatives, and European values. Volunteers will actively contribute to raising awareness about Erasmus+ and ESC opportunities while supporting local youth through creative, educational, and community-based activities.
What Will You Do?
๐ช Organise events and campaigns such as clean-ups, art clubs, and DIY sustainability activities
๐ซ Promote Erasmus+ and ESC through info sessions, school visits, and outreach actions
๐ฑ Support social media and communication by creating content, writing articles, and sharing ABS initiatives
๐จ Take part in creative projects and workshops with young people
๐ Design and implement your own community project based on your ideas
Accommodation & Practical Arrangements
๐ Fully covered accommodation including rent and utilities
๐ถ Monthly food allowance and pocket money
๐๏ธ Fully furnished shared apartments with another volunteer of the same gender
๐ถ 10โ15 minutesโ walk to the city centre and ABS office
๐ป Modern working environment in a co-working space inside the local mall
Training & Learning Opportunities
๐งญ On-arrival training organised by the Bulgarian National Agency
๐ ABS orientation covering mission, vision, and long-term projects
๐ Skill development in non-formal education and volunteering
๐ฅ๏ธ Website management and digital tools
๐จ Photo editing and design using Canva and similar software
๐ฑ Social media content creation and strategy
๐ค Team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and buddy group support
Participant Profile
๐ Aged 18โ24
๐ฃ๏ธ Basic English communication skills
๐ Motivated, proactive, and ready to take initiative
๐ Open to intercultural teamwork and new challenges
๐จ Interested in workshops, youth activities, and creative processes
๐ Applications are strongly encouraged from young people with fewer opportunities including economic, geographical, educational, cultural, health-related, or refugee backgrounds
