Step into the World of Butterflies and Communication in Bordano, Italy! 🦋

Activity Description: At Farfalle nella Testa (Butterflies in the Head), you have the opportunity to engage in the communication of the activities of the Butterfly House. As a volunteer, you will actively support the staff in various communication tasks, including photography, video production, and social media management. Your responsibilities will encompass:

• 📷 Shooting, editing, and publishing photos of animals and plants within the Butterfly House and its surroundings.
• 🎥 Assisting in video production from planning to post-production.
• 📱 Handling the publication of information and media content on websites and social media channels.
• 🌐 Interacting with the online community.
• 📊 Reading statistics, planning media strategies, and graphic design for materials produced by the Butterfly House.

What’s Included:

• 🏠 Accommodation in a three-floor house with a garden in Bordano.
• 💶 Money for food shopping (160 euros).
• 💰 A monthly pocket money of 5 euros.
• 🚲 Bicycles provided by Farfalle nella Testa.
• 🚆 Refunded travel expenses based on EU Commission guidelines.

Training During the Activity:

• 🚀 On Arrival Training organized by the Italian National Agency.
• 🎓 On Arrival Training with the volunteers, coordinator, and mentor of Farfalle nella Testa.

Participant Profile:

• ✅ Available for the entire project duration (November 2023 – May 2024).
• 🌍 Legally resident in a European Union country.
• Highly motivated to learn Italian.
• 🎥 Ideal volunteer attributes include knowledge of video production and editing, social media skills, graphic design, a love for nature and animals, teamwork capabilities, communication and creativity, an open-minded outlook, and readiness to live in a remote area.

Activity Dates: A 26-week volunteering opportunity from November 1, 2023, to May 1, 2024.
