ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION: In this project, we offer an ambitious volunteering plan with activities across various entities in Medina del Campo. These activities are all geared toward addressing depopulation issues and reviving the community. They cover a wide range of areas, including:
- 🌿 Environment and the protection of abused and neglected animals.
- 👩🦼 Assistance to groups with special needs and abilities.
- 💼 Employment, entrepreneurship, and promotion of opportunities.
- 🎭 Culture, promotion, dissemination, and fostering new relationships with foreign countries.
- 📚 Comprehensive education for children through leisure activities and free time.
- 🌍 The promotion of European mobility programs such as Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps, along with various non-formal education methods.
All these activities are closely coordinated and supervised by the hosting entity, Asociación DESES-3.
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD, AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS: Accommodation and food expenses are fully covered by the program.
TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY: Training will be provided by the Spanish National Agency, both upon arrival and before the volunteers’ departure.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE: We are seeking individuals who are flexible, possess a positive attitude, and are eager to learn through everyday activities. While not mandatory, prior knowledge of the Spanish language is appreciated.
ACTIVITY DATES: A 28-week volunteering opportunity from November 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024.
