Description:
This training offers a comprehensive overview of the opportunities provided by ERASMUS+ in the field of Youth, along with an introduction to the European Solidarity Corps. Participants will gain the knowledge and tools necessary to carry out quality projects.
Objectives:
- Present European Educational Programmes within the framework of European youth policies and strategies.
- Explore the vast range of opportunities offered by Erasmus+ actions and sub-actions.
- Stimulate practice in the management of international projects.
- Boost mobility and learning opportunities based on Non-Formal Education.
- Promote the recognition of Non-Formal Learning.
Contents:
- Erasmus+ in the Youth Field: Objectives, structure, and relation with European Youth policies and strategies.
- Key Actions and Sub-Actions: Main features, eligibility and award criteria, funding rules, etc.
- European Solidarity Corps: Overview of different strands and types of activity.
- Online Platforms and Resources: Implementation of projects in Erasmus+.
- Project Management: General management and entire life-cycle of international projects.
- Non-Formal Learning and Recognition Systems: Methods based on non-formal education principles, combining theoretical inputs with practical learning.
Methods:
Participants will engage in dynamic and interactive sessions, workshops, teamwork tasks, simulations, case studies, debates, and round tables. Peer-to-peer support and mentoring will be offered for follow-up learning and future project design.
Participants Profile:
- Active in the youth sector.
- Committed to applying acquired skills at work post-activity.
- Focused on creating learning opportunities for young people, especially those with fewer opportunities.
- At least 18 years old.
- Able to communicate in English.
