At Youth Works Hub, we opened all five of these Erasmus+ listings in full before writing about them, and each one is a funded chance to grow as someone who works with young people. The five activities take place in Bulgaria, Serbia, France, Spain and Italy between October and November 2026, and all five close between 2 and 4 October 2026. They are aimed at youth workers, trainers, youth leaders, mentors, teachers and social workers. Most are open to a wide mix of roles in youth work, while the trainings in Serbia and France look for more specific profiles. Each of the five has its own focus. In Petrohan, Bulgaria, The Story of Us trains participants in deep listening and storytelling as tools for building communities and youth participation. In ล abac, Serbia, SALTO SEE runs a hands-on safeguarding training that is only for European Solidarity Corps organisations with a Quality Label. In Cornus, France, Du Grain ร Moudre brings together youth workers to challenge dominant narratives about migration through popular education and art, ending with an exhibition. In El Olmo, Spain, Asociaciรณn Parkeri looks at digital wellbeing, using nature and outdoor activities to balance the overuse of devices. In Palermo, Italy, InformaGiovani APS ETS hosts a Partnership-building Activity on preventing gender-based violence and supporting victims.
Costs are lighter than usual in this batch. Four of the five charge no participation fee, and in Serbia the fee and travel support are set by each National Agency. Accommodation and food are covered in all five. Travel is reimbursed within Erasmus+ limits, with each organiser setting out its own procedure. All five give participants a Youthpass certificate, which records what you learned and can be shown to future employers or organisations.
All five activities run under the Erasmus+ Programme, which covers travel and stay for participants within its funding rules. According to Youth Works Hub's review of the five listings, accommodation and food are covered by every host. Travel is reimbursed differently by each organiser:

The Story of Us is a training course in Petrohan, Bulgaria, from 18 to 25 October 2026. It is organised by the International Foundation for Y-PEER Development (IFYD) for 30 youth workers, trainers, youth leaders and volunteering mentors. The training is about listening deeply, giving others your full attention and creating space without judgement, agendas or the need to fix. It builds storytelling and public narrative skills for reflection and action on human rights, inclusion and youth participation. Participants also strengthen their skills as peer educators, community builders and youth leaders, and exchange creative storytelling methods for shared social challenges. There is no participation fee, travel and full board accommodation are covered by the Erasmus+ Programme, and travel is reimbursed on invoices up to the limit in the info pack. However, health insurance and visa costs are not covered. The working language is English, selection is on 5 October and 34 countries can apply.
2. ๐ท๐ธ Erasmus+ Training Course in Serbia ๐ก๏ธ Safeguarding Practice in European Solidarity Corps Organisations ๐ค

SALTO SEE, together with the Czech and Italian National Agencies, runs this hands-on training course in ล abac, Serbia, from 2 to 6 November 2026. It is for 30 people who help European Solidarity Corps organisations create a safe and secure environment for volunteers. Participants explore their role, responsibilities, boundaries and limits in safeguarding situations and work on real-life case studies. They leave with a safeguarding policy started or strengthened, and with concrete action and implementation plans for their own organisation. The training is open to representatives of ESC organisations with a Quality Label from Programme countries, including supervisors, coordinators, mentors and tutors. The hosting SALTO covers accommodation and food, while the participation fee varies by country and travel support depends on your National Agency. For both, you contact your National Agency or SALTO. The working language is English, selection is on 7 October and 37 countries can apply.
3. ๐ซ๐ท Erasmus+ Training Course in France ๐จ Changing Migration Narratives Through Art and Popular Education ๐

Du Grain ร Moudre runs this training course in Cornus, a small village in a rural area of France, from 7 to 15 November 2026. It is for 26 participants who want to counter dominant narratives and stereotypes about migration. The programme covers contemporary migration dynamics, European migration policies and critical thinking. It then turns to creating alternative, positive narratives through popular education and artistic tools, ending with an exhibition. The organisers are looking for professional youth workers with an interest in geopolitics and global education. They especially encourage participants with a migration background, those working directly with migrants and people with artistic profiles. A good level of English is required. There is no participation fee, and the group stays in a rustic gรฎte in shared rooms for up to four people, each with a private bathroom, with all meals prepared by a professional cook. Travel is reimbursed up to the Erasmus+ distance band limit, and the reimbursement is paid at the earliest three months after the course ends. Selection is on 7 October and 34 countries can apply.
4. ๐ช๐ธ Erasmus+ Training Course in Spain ๐ต Digital Wellbeing and Self Awareness for Youth Workers ๐ณ

Asociaciรณn Parkeri hosts this training course in El Olmo, Berzosa de Lozoya, Spain, for 22 participants. It is for youth workers, youth leaders, volunteering mentors, youth coaches, teachers, social workers and social educators who want to look at their own relationship with digital technology before supporting young people. The main aims are:

๐ณ using nature and outdoor activities to balance the overuse of devices
๐ฑ practising self-care on social media and developing self-esteem sessions connected with social media
๐ฌ promoting a no-hate-speech culture online
There is no participation fee, accommodation and food are 100% covered with Erasmus+ funds, and travel is reimbursed under Erasmus+ rules, with details in the info pack. 5. ๐ฎ๐น Erasmus+ Training Course in Italy ๐ก๏ธ Preventing Gender Based Violence and Supporting Victims ๐ค

InformaGiovani APS ETS runs this activity in Palermo, Italy, from 23 to 29 November 2026. It is for 26 youth workers, educators, teachers, social workers and young journalists aged 18 or over with experience in the youth field. It brings together two kinds of organisations: those working to prevent gender-based violence and support victims, and those that want to start working on the topic. Together they share tools, protocols and intervention methods, develop policy ideas and guidelines for safer partnerships, explore common advocacy and build partnerships for future projects. There is no fee, board, lodging and insurance are 100% covered by Erasmus+, and travel is reimbursed on actual expenses up to the distance band limit. The listing lists the activity as a Partnership-building Activity, not a standard training course.Selection is on 18 October and 34 countries can apply.
If you want to work on yourself first, the digital wellbeing course in Spain and the deep-listening training in Bulgaria are the closest fit. For organisations that host volunteers or work with young people in difficult situations, the Serbia safeguarding training and the Palermo activity on gender-based violence focus on policies and guidelines you can take back and use. The migration narratives course in France suits youth workers who want to add art and media tools to their practice.
