Here the focus is sport and movement to support children's mental, physical and emotional development. Organise indoor and outdoor sports and dance activities, adapt to different skill levels, promote inclusivity, and build social skills like teamwork and communication, all while helping with homework in a warm, supportive team. Bring digital energy to a daily centre offering disadvantaged children a safe space, non-formal education, homework help and warm meals, many from the Roma community. Focus on communication and digitalisation: create content and posts for the centre's social media, promote events and highlight activities, manage community interactions, gather visuals with the team, and propose fun digitalisation activities for the kids, while also supporting their homework in a warm, inclusive environment. Take root at an atypical cultural venue in Marseille built around a shared garden and theatre, a place of exchange and welcome between local residents, the team and artists in residence. Host school and social groups for garden workshops, welcome residents to the compost area, maintain the garden and chicken coop, and run cooking workshops from garden to plate. You will also help organise an urban agriculture event bringing together 40 partners. Become part of the daily life of a small community exploring regenerative living and cooperation with nature. This is hands-on, learn-by-doing living close to the land: tend the garden, care for plants and soil, harvest late-summer vegetables and orchard fruit, and prepare preserves for winter. Help build a community wooden house using natural building methods, share cooking and daily responsibilities, and deepen a sense of belonging through group practices. Put your creativity to work strengthening communication, education and awareness-raising in the highlands of Guatemala. Help create educational and informative materials, sensitise indigenous communities on gender and women's rights, and collect and share success stories across different media. Help make leisure accessible to everyone at a social centre near Paris, sharing its expertise in games and play. Take part in the leisure centre, toy library events and community gatherings like neighbourhood game cafรฉs, mainly leading activities for children aged 6 to 11 but also for younger children, adults and seniors. Board games become a way to create social connections and bring people together, and you can develop your own animation project too. France leads with four placements โ the Marseille garden-theatre, a two-mission youth role in a south-western spa town, board games near Paris, and a European-citizenship school role โ while Romania (two Roma children's centre roles), Guatemala (communication and food security) and Portugal (project management and Algarve solidarity) each offer two. The two Romanian placements move as soon as possible, the Marseille garden closes on 20 July, and the calendar stretches through a busy 21 August cluster all the way to the French language-exchange role on 5 September.
