Description

Naturland is the largest international association for organic agriculture. With 120,000 farmers, beekeepers, and fish farmers in 60 countries, we stand for the fact that ecological, social, and fair management is a successful project worldwide. We are looking for a volunteer to support our international communication. Your tasks

• edit short and long-form videos for our training platform, YouTube and other social media channels.

• support background research, editing, translations and publication of videos.

• monitor the performance of communication channels and support reporting.

• stay up to date with YouTube trends and advise on best practices.

• support the organization of online events for international farmers and agricultural experts.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Single room in a youth residence in the center of Munich. The kitchen and bath are shared with 10 people (mixed gender). The residence has its own garden, diverse facilities and common rooms available. Naturland will provide a free public transport ticket, as well as ca. 400€ monthly allowance for food and other expenses (usual ESC volunteering conditions). The duration of the volunteering opportunity is up to 12 months


Training during the activity

We invite you to

• learn more about organic agriculture, social responsibility and climate-friendly food production.

• participate in events about organic farming, including Biofach Nuremberg — the world's largest organic trade fair.

• gain hands-on experience in digital communication, video and content creation.

• put your creativity and skills to use, develop them further, and work independently on projects.

• work in an intercultural and cross-continental context.

• be part of a collaborative team working on meaningful projects with a positive impact.

Participant profile

You are 18 to 27 years old and have

• a nationality and residency in a country eligible to the European Solidarity Corps Program (check here).

• an interest in sustainable and organic agriculture.

• a sound knowledge of English. In addition, Spanish, Italian and/or German skills are an advantage.

• an interest in video production, digital media and content creation.

• a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Basic experience with content creation and/or video editing (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, ClipChamp) are an advantage.
