Description

There are several opportunities that you can choose from volunteering in the leisure time center in Náchod, in Hronov, volunteering in local schools, volunteering in Montessori school, volunteering in Montessori-style kindergarten. The main target group you will work with will be children aged 3 to 18, but you can also partly help with activities for adults. During the summer you will help with the summer camps that we organize for children from 3 to 13 years old. The experience you will get is really wide, intensive and life-changing. The duration of the project is 1st of September of 2026 until 31st of August 2027. However, you can also stay in the project from beginning of January 2027 till the end of August 2027.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

The tickets you will buy for the journey for the project and back home will be reimbursed. You don´t have to pay for accommodation, it is fully funded from the project. Moreover, you will recieve mohtly pocket money to buy your own food and personal things. You will live in a shared appartment with your own room. The appartment is fully equipped. You will not have to travel daily to the organization, you will live in the same town close to the organization´s seat. Náchod is a small town - however it has many shops, sport facilities, a cinema, cafés, restaurants and bars.


Training during the activity

You will get an opportunity to join the training called On-arrival which is organized by the National agency. Another training will consist of a team building 3-days long meeting of volunteers from the whole project on the organization´s camp base, where all the volunteering matters will be explained to you. During your volunteering you will be under leading of the coordinator and pedagogue, who will help you with all the steps at the beginning - in case that you cannot prepare the activity fully by yourself, we will be helpful.

Participant profile

We expect that you are an open-minded, responsible and flexible person who is interested in pedagogy and enjoys working with children. The age of the candidate must be between 18 and 30 years old. We want to be sure that you understand the term VOLUNTEERING and that you don´t take the project as a thing that only you should benefit from. You don´t have to have any special qualifications to apply for this project. We will teach you everything. It will be helpful if you speak at least a little bit of English so the communication can be easier.
