🤝 Join a Meaningful Volunteering Experience in Romania!

The “Youth for a Better Future” project, organized by Asociația Be You, aims to foster social cohesion, active citizenship, and inclusion. Volunteers will contribute to the development of a future youth center, “Horizons,”engaging in hands-on activities and youth support programs.

This is your chance to make a tangible impact while developing valuable skills in community work, teamwork, and leadership.

💼 Your Role as a Volunteer

✔️ Support the physical development of the “Horizons” youth center 🏗️
✔️ Assist in organizing and maintaining facilities 🛠️
✔️ Plant trees and arrange green spaces 🌱
✔️ Prepare materials for thematic youth workshops 📚
✔️ Support facilitators in youth engagement activities 🏫

📌 The project also promotes equality and encourages active participation in decision-making at all levels.

🏡 Accommodation, Food & Transport

✔️ Accommodation: Shared non-smoking rooms with shared bathrooms & kitchen. 🏠
✔️ Meals & Pocket Money: €150/month for food & basic needs + €120/month pocket money. 🍽️💰
✔️ Travel Reimbursement: Covered based on ESC guidelines & travel documents. ✈️
✔️ Days Off: Spring holidays (Easter) & legal holidays included.

🎓 Training & Support

📌 Pre-departure training (provided by support & hosting organization).
📌 On-site thematic sessions with a volunteer coordinator.
📌 Mentoring, guidance & constant feedback during the project.
📌 Basic Romanian language lessons 🇷🇴.

👤 Who Can Apply?

✅ Requirements:
🔹 Age: 18 – 30 years old
🔹 Interested in youth work, personal & professional development, and community building
🔹 Motivated, proactive, and sociable
🔹 Comfortable moving to a small city & working with the local community
🔹 English level: B2+ (required) & willingness to learn Romanian
