Make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children in the historic city of Thessaloniki! ๐ฌ๐ทโจ ARSIS Social Organization for Youth Support is inviting compassionate volunteers to join the “Creating Connections” program. Based in the ARSIS House in Oreokastro, you will be a vital part of a team providing stability, care, and emotional strength to unaccompanied minors. Through creative workshops, theater, and non-formal education, you will help these children build trust and self-confidence while developing your own professional skills in child protection and social work. ๐๐๐

Your Impactful Roles & Tasks
๐จ Creative Workshops: Organizing experiential workshops in arts, crafts, graffiti, or theater to encourage self-expression.
๐ Non-Formal Education: Teaching English and leading interactive learning sessions to boost children’s communication skills.
๐ค Emotional Support: Creating a safe environment focused on well-being, helping children regain trust and self-confidence.
๐ข Shelter Life: Supporting the daily activities of the Reception Centers and the ARSIS House in Oreokastro.
Professional Training Provided
๐ก๏ธ Child Protection: Intensive training on methodologies and tools to ensure the safety and well-withing of vulnerable children.
๐ Teaching Methodologies: Learn how to teach English using interactive and enjoyable non-formal education tools.
๐ฅ Ongoing Mentorship: Constant support and guidance from the experienced ARSIS professional staff.

Accommodation & Financial Support
๐ Housing: Volunteers stay in a fully equipped two-bedroom apartment in Thessaloniki, shared with up to two other international roommates.
๐ถ Monthly Allowance: Total support of 400 EUR per month (180โฌ pocket money + 220โฌ food money).
๐ Transport: An unlimited monthly travel card for the Thessaloniki public transport system is provided.
