🌍 About the Volunteering Opportunity
🌿 This European Solidarity Corps volunteering role is hosted by BirdLife Malta, one of the leading environmental organisations in the Maltese Islands
🕊️ The volunteer will join the Public Engagement team and contribute directly to bird conservation environmental education and community outreach
📣 The role combines event organisation educational activities and communication work with real impact on public awareness and nature protection

🛠️ Main Tasks and Responsibilities
🎪 Support the planning and delivery of public events school visits and outreach activities
🎓 Assist in educational sessions and community engagement programmes
📢 Promote activities through digital and print communication channels
🗂️ Support volunteer coordination administration and reporting tasks
🌍 Contribute to environmental awareness and bird conservation across Malta

🏠 Accommodation Food and Transport
🏠 Accommodation provided close to the organisation’s offices in Ta’ Xbiex
💡 Utilities including electricity water gas and internet fully covered
✈️ Travel costs to and from Malta reimbursed according to ESC distance rules
💶 Monthly allowance of €380 for food and personal expenses
🩺 Private health insurance provided by Henner

📚 On-the-job training provided by the hosting organisation

👤 Aged between 18 and 30

🗣️ Good command of English

🤝 Good communication and interpersonal skills
🕒 Willingness to work flexibly including occasional weekends or public holidays
📈 Motivation to develop organisational administrative and outreach skills
