This ESC Individual Volunteering opportunity in Spain ๐ช๐ธ is hosted by Fundaciรณn Hermanos Obreros de Marรญa in Granada and focuses on building a more inclusive European society through education, solidarity, and social intervention. The project supports vulnerable children and young people by promoting equal access to education, employability, intercultural dialogue, gender equality, and the prevention of abuse and maltreatment.
โ ๏ธ Important: Only candidates available for the full 330 days are eligible. Shorter stays are not accepted.
๐๏ธ Hosting Organisation
Fundaciรณn Hermanos Obreros de Marรญa is a socio-educational organisation working with children and youth at risk of exclusion. Its work combines formal and non-formal education, cooperation with teachers and social workers, and long-term educational support aimed at empowerment, integration, and employability.
๐งฉ Volunteering Activities
๐ Support formal and non-formal educational activities for children and youth
๐ค Promote mutual tolerance, cultural diversity, intercultural dialogue and gender equality
๐ก๏ธ Contribute to prevention and awareness against abuse and maltreatment
๐ผ Support employability and entrepreneurship skills development
๐ซ Collaborate with educators, volunteers and social workers in daily educational life

Activity Dates
๐๏ธ From 09 February 2026 to 10 January 2027
โณ Total duration: 48 weeks
๐ถ Accommodation, Food and Transport
๐ Accommodation provided within the same educational centre where volunteers work
๐ฝ๏ธ Food provided by the host organisation
๐๏ธ Fixed holiday periods during Easter, August and Christmas
๐ Training During the Activity
๐ The volunteer will receive training sessions focused on socio-educational work with youth and vulnerable groups throughout the volunteering period.

๐ Aged 18โ30
๐ From European Solidarity Corps programme countries
๐ Background or previous experience in socio-educational or volunteering fields
โค๏ธ Strong motivation to work with vulnerable groups including minors in care, young migrants, refugees and youth at risk of exclusion
