An impactful ESC Volunteering opportunity in Cyprus ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡พ with โ€œHOPE FOR CHILDRENโ€ CRC Policy Center, one of the leading child protection organisations in Europe.
This long-term volunteering project places young people directly inside the Research & Development Division, working on childrenโ€™s rights, social justice, advocacy, research, and non-formal education at national and European level.

๐Ÿ›๏ธ Host Organisation
โ€œHOPE FOR CHILDRENโ€ CRC Policy Center is an international humanitarian organisation based in Nicosia, Cyprus, dedicated to promoting and protecting the rights of children in line with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and EU law.
The organisation employs more than 110 professionals and operates shelters, research units, counselling centres, education programmes, and international advocacy initiatives across Europe and beyond.

๐ŸŒฑ Support daily work of the Research & Development Division
๐Ÿ“š Assist with desk and field research on childrenโ€™s rights
๐Ÿง  Contribute to EU-funded projects, research and advocacy initiatives
๐ŸŽจ Support non-formal education workshops and awareness activities
๐Ÿ“ข Help organise national and international campaigns, conferences and trainings
๐Ÿค Collaborate in a multidisciplinary, multicultural professional environment

๐Ÿ  Shared accommodation arranged by the host organisation
๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Food allowance: 180 โ‚ฌ per month
๐Ÿ’ธ Pocket money: 7 โ‚ฌ per day
๐Ÿš Local transport allowance: 50 โ‚ฌ per month
โœˆ๏ธ International travel reimbursed according to ESC distance bands

๐ŸŽฏ On-arrival and mid-term training by the Cypriot National Agency
๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿซ Task-specific training provided by HFC staff

๐ŸŽ‚ Aged 20โ€“30
๐ŸŽ“ University degree in Political Science, International Relations, Sociology, Law, Education or related fields
๐ŸŒ Comfortable working in a multicultural and international environment
๐Ÿ’ก Interest in childrenโ€™s rights, social justice and vulnerable groups
๐Ÿ“Š Interest or experience in research and project work (or strong motivation to learn)
๐Ÿ”ฅ Proactive, organised, ethical and motivated
๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Good knowledge of English (additional languages are an asset)
