๐ Project Overview
This European Solidarity Corps โ Volunteering Teams project takes place in Rabka-Zdrรณj, Poland ๐ต๐ฑ and focuses on supporting MyPo!nt Festival, a unique civic and artistic festival designed to amplify voices that are often overlooked in democratic processes.
The festival uses LARP (Live Action Role-Playing Games) and artistic expression as tools for participation, dialogue, inclusion, and empowerment, creating a safe and bilingual (PolishโEnglish) space for expression.
๐ฏ Main Activities & Tasks
๐ญ Supporting the preparation, organisation and implementation of the MyPo!nt Festival
๐งต Assisting with costume-making and preparation of creative spaces
๐ช Helping set up festival areas and artistic environments
๐ฒ Taking roles as NPCs (Non-Player Characters) during LARP activities
๐๏ธ Providing organisational and logistical support during the festival
๐ Contributing to an inclusive, tolerant and creative festival atmosphere
๐ Accommodation, Food & Transport
๐ก Accommodation in the Training and Education Center in Rabka-Zdrรณj (2โ5 person rooms, private bathrooms, bedding & towels provided)
๐ฝ๏ธ 3 meals per day (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
๐ฒ Location surrounded by nature: mountains, forest, river, park & outdoor pool
๐ฒ Access to board games and common spaces
๐๏ธ Accommodation provided in Krakรณw during the festival days
๐ Training During the Activity
๐ญ Training in LARP methods, improvised theatre and costume-making
๐จ Practical workshops tailored to festival support needs
๐ค Team-based learning and creative collaboration
