About the Opportunity
🤝 This European Solidarity Corps individual volunteering project is hosted by Cooperativa Sociale Kara Bobowskiin Modigliana, Italy 🇮🇹.
🏡 The volunteering takes place in a residential centre for people with disabilities, with a strong focus on inclusion, solidarity, and everyday life support. The project also welcomes young people with fewer opportunities and values diversity within a multicultural team.
What Will You Do?
🎨 Support daily activities such as creativity, games, music, reading, and gardening
🍽️ Assist with meals, cooking workshops, and daily routines
🚶 Take part in walks and outdoor activities with residents
🧩 Contribute to socialisation and wellbeing through inclusive activities
🌱 Propose and develop new activities based on your interests or hobbies
🤝 Work in shifts (morning or afternoon), 5 days per week, together with staff and other volunteers
Training & Learning Experience
📘 Pre-departure preparation
🇮🇹 On-arrival group training
🧠 Task-related training adapted to the needs of people with disabilities
🗣️ Online language course throughout the mobility period
🇪🇺 On-Arrival Training and Mid-Term Evaluation organised by the Italian National Agency
Who Can Apply?
👤 Aged 18–28
🌍 National of an EU Programme Country
🤍 Open and motivated to work with people with disabilities
🌱 Flexible, open-minded, and willing to learn
🤝 Able to work both autonomously and in a multicultural team
💬 No specific professional background required
🌍 Young people with fewer opportunities are welcome

🏠 Shared room with another volunteer of the same gender
🏡 Fully furnished apartment for up to 4 volunteers (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room)

🚫 Accommodation free of charge
