🏡 About the Project

Kita Monelli is an intercultural day care centre located in Karlsruhe, hosting around 40 children aged 3 to 6. The centre welcomes children of all nationalities and backgrounds, focusing on inclusion, creativity, and independence.

Through a play-based and nature-oriented approach, children explore the world through curiosity and discovery — guided by caring educators and volunteers. 🌞

🎨 Your Volunteer Role

During your ESC journey, you will:
👧 Support daily educational and creative activities for children aged 3–6.
🎭 Help organize workshops, outdoor games, and cultural celebrations.
🌿 Assist with excursions to museums, nature parks, and playgrounds.
💬 Introduce your culture, traditions, and language through play.
🎒 Encourage inclusion, curiosity, and teamwork among the children.

You’ll also have the chance to design your own activities — storytelling, crafts, music, or art — to inspire the kids’ creativity! 🎵🎨

🏠 Accommodation, Food & Benefits

🏡 Shared house with other international ESC volunteers in Karlsruhe.
🛏️ Private bedroom + shared kitchen, living room, and garden.

💶 Monthly total allowance: approx. €525 (pocket + food).

🧭 Training & Support

📚 50-hour German language course included.
🗣️ Two national ESC seminars to meet other volunteers and share experiences.
🎓 Optional pedagogical course to become a certified youth leader.
🌍 Continuous mentorship and intercultural learning support.

By the end of your experience, you’ll receive a Youthpass Certificate recognizing your skills in creativity, teamwork, and early education.

We’re looking for enthusiastic and open-minded volunteers who are:

✅ Interested in early childhood education and cultural exchange.
✅ Basic German knowledge (preferred but not required).
✅ Flexible, responsible, and motivated to learn.
