🧠 About the IAFFE Feminist Economics School

The International Association for Feminist Economics (IAFFE) invites applications for the Feminist Economics School 2026, which will be held at Universidad Icesi in Cali, Colombia, from 6–8 July 2026.

This intensive, no-fee program brings together 20–30 early career scholars, activists, practitioners, and policymakerswho are engaged in feminist economic research, activism, and policy development.

The school aims to bridge theory and practice, offering formal training in feminist economics and connecting participants with leading experts and peers who share a vision of transforming economic systems through gender equality and social justice.

👩‍💼 Eligibility Criteria

To apply, candidates must:

• Have completed an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) or possess at least 5 years of experience in work, activism, or social movements addressing feminist economic issues.
• Have a demonstrated interest or engagement in feminist economic thought, policy, or advocacy.
• Possess basic English language skills (the working language of the program).
• Be available to attend the in-person sessions in Cali, Colombia, from 6–8 July 2026.

The program strongly encourages applications from Indigenous communities, marginalized and minority groups, and those working to advance equality and justice in economic practices and research.
