🏛️ About the Programme

The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) invites young people from across Europe to take part in Your Europe, Your Say! (YEYS) 2026, a two-day youth assembly held in Brussels on 19–20 March 2026.

Since 2010, YEYS has brought together students, young leaders, and civil society representatives to discuss, debate, and propose recommendations on key European issues. The EESC then shares these recommendations with the European Commission and the European Parliament, ensuring young voices influence real EU policymaking.

This event offers a fully funded travel and accommodation package, giving participants the chance to experience EU decision-making up close, meet peers from all over Europe, and contribute to shaping a better, more united Europe.

Note: Local transfers to/from airports or train stations are not covered.

👥 Eligibility Criteria

You can apply if you are:

• Aged 16–25 at the time of travel;
• Living in one of the 27 EU Member States, or one of the 9 EU Candidate Countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Türkiye, or Ukraine), or the United Kingdom;
• Able to speak and understand English (the event language);
• Have not attended EU youth events in Brussels, Strasbourg, or Luxembourg in the past two years.

Categories of participants:

1. Secondary school students (16–18 years) – each school applies for one student + one teacher.
2. Young people (18–25 years) – university students or members of youth/civil society organisations, youth councils, or NGOs.

📩 Selection Results: by 15 December 2025

🧭 Selection Process

• 100 participants in total will be selected.
• 80 participants will be chosen via this open call.
• Selection based on age, gender balance, nationality, civil society involvement, and motivation.
• Chosen applicants will receive a confirmation email and registration form to arrange travel and accommodation through the EESC’s official agency.
