💫 About the Project
Join Les Petits Frères des Pauvres, one of France’s most respected humanitarian associations, and take part in a mission that truly changes lives. The project “Let’s Fight Social Isolation Thanks to Intergenerational Links!” invites young Europeans to the warm coastal town of La Seyne-sur-Mer, near the Mediterranean Sea, to bring joy, companionship, and solidarity to elderly people living alone.
This project focuses on building intergenerational friendships and combating loneliness — one of the biggest social challenges of our time. Volunteers will form bonds with elderly residents, support digital literacy, organise social events, and help create a stronger sense of belonging and connection in the community.
You’ll become part of a large network of 15,000 volunteers and 600 professionals who dedicate their time to ensuring no elderly person feels forgotten.
