Hosted by ZO Associazione Culturale, this European Solidarity Corps (ESC) project offers an extraordinary one-year experience inside a multidisciplinary cultural centre — Zō Centro Culture Contemporanee.

Zō is one of southern Italy’s most dynamic hubs for contemporary arts, social innovation, and youth participation. Volunteers will take part in theatre, music, cinema, dance, and educational events, supporting both the technical and communication sides of cultural production. 💪 What You Will Do

As a volunteer at Zō, you’ll become part of a passionate cultural team working daily to bring creative ideas to life. Your main tasks will include:

• 🎭 Event Support – Assist in the setup, organisation, and logistics of theatre and dance performances, concerts, and film screenings.
• 🎥 Communication & Media – Help with video and photo documentation, social media posts, and visual promotion of cultural events.
• 🎨 Workshops & Festivals – Take part in educational activities, labs, and artistic festivals.
• 🧠 Learning & Development – Participate in internal workshops to expand your knowledge of culture management, technical production, and community engagement.
• 🤝 Teamwork & Solidarity – Support the staff and artists, learn backstage work, and contribute to the lively intercultural atmosphere.

🏡 Accommodation, Meals & Financial Support

• 🏠 Accommodation: Fully equipped shared apartment in the city centre of Catania. Each volunteer will have a private room.
• 🍝 Food Allowance: Provided monthly — volunteers can cook at home or explore Catania’s famous Sicilian cuisine.
• 💶 Pocket Money: Provided according to ESC rules.
• 🚆 Local Transport: Easily accessible public transport for commuting to the cultural centre.
