📖 Project Description
The MERU (Maharishi European Research University) is a vibrant campus at the heart of De Meinweg National Park in the Netherlands, dedicated to meditation, consciousness, and holistic living. Volunteers join a diverse international community of around 200 people, supporting daily activities in:
- 🍴 Dining services
- 🏡 Housing & maintenance
- 🌱 Gardening & green spaces
- 🎭 Events and workshops
As part of the experience, all volunteers will learn Transcendental Meditation (TM) through a four-day certified course – an effortless practice that fosters deep relaxation, focus, and personal growth.
🏠 Accommodation, Food & Allowance
- 🛏️ Private room in a shared volunteer house (shared kitchen, bathroom, living spaces)
- 🚐 Daily transport to and from the MERU campus provided
- 🥗 Free freshly prepared organic vegetarian meals at lunch & dinner
- 🛒 Access to free organic food products from the campus store for home cooking

- 🧘 Thematic sessions on meditation & consciousness

We welcome volunteers who are:
- ✅ Aged 18–30
- 🌍 Interested in multicultural community life
- 🧘 Curious about meditation and eager to learn Transcendental Meditation
- 🗣️ Fair command of English
- 📌 Affiliated with an accredited sending organization
