🌟 About the Opportunity

This ESC volunteering experience at MERU – Maharishi European Research University invites young people to join a unique consciousness-based community surrounded by the peaceful landscapes of De Meinweg National Park. Volunteers will contribute to daily community life while learning Transcendental Meditation (TM) — a simple, scientifically validated technique that supports inner peace, clarity, and wellbeing.

You will take part in meaningful work supporting campus life, grow within a multicultural environment, and explore the intersection of wellbeing, spirituality, sustainability, and community living.

🧘‍♂️ What You Will Do

✨ Join daily tasks in different areas of the MERU community
✨ Support dining services, housing, garden and facility operations
✨ Take part in campus events, courses, and community activities
✨ Learn Transcendental Meditation in a certified 4-day course
✨ Experience living in an intentional community focused on wellbeing and consciousness
✨ Build skills in teamwork, cultural exchange, discipline, and self-development

🏠 Private room in a shared volunteer house
🚗 Daily transport to and from MERU provided
