About the Opportunity

Under the EVER: European Volunteering for Environment and Resilience project, youโll join Movimiento por la Paz, el Desarme y la Libertad (MPDL) โ a renowned pacifist, feminist, and antiracist organization with over 40 years of experience promoting peace and human rights.
As a Communication Support Technician, youโll collaborate with the MPDL Colombia team in creating and sharing informative content with a gender-sensitive and human rights perspective. Your work will help raise visibility for community empowerment initiatives and peacebuilding projects implemented across the country.

โจ Support the creation of digital and written communication materials

๐งญ Ideal Participant Profile
๐ Aged 18โ35, motivated to promote equality and peace
๐ฌ Interested in communication, storytelling, and human rights
๐จ Skilled in content creation and visual communication
๐ค Committed to social justice, tolerance, and inclusion
๐ช Especially encouraged to apply if youโve faced social or economic barriers
๐ Must have completed EU Humanitarian Volunteering training and not previously participated in another EU Humanitarian Volunteering project
๐ Accommodation, Food & Support
All essential expenses โ including accommodation, visa, insurance, and flights โ are covered by the project. Volunteers will stay in a safe area of Aguachica, in individual rooms with full utilities (electricity, water, internet). A monthly allowance will be provided to cover food and local transportation.
Before deployment, participants will receive pre-departure training on MPDLโs mission, humanitarian work, safety, and local context. Continuous mentorship and learning support will be provided throughout the experience.
