🌍 About the Project
Are you ready to challenge racism, break down barriers, and build spaces where everyone truly belongs? 🌍
“Beyond Bias: Embracing Anti-Racist Practices” is a 7-day Erasmus+ Training Course that brings together youth workers, educators, and young leaders (18+) from Italy 🇮🇹, Austria 🇦🇹, Croatia 🇭🇷, Greece 🇬🇷, Ireland 🇮🇪, Poland 🇵🇱, Portugal 🇵🇹, and Sweden 🇸🇪 to explore how to turn awareness into action and create inclusive communities.
Racism hasn’t disappeared — it has evolved. This project empowers participants to recognise bias, foster empathy, and take real steps toward equality through non-formal learning, intercultural dialogue, and collaborative practice.
🎯 Objectives

This course helps youth workers, educators, and young activists gain confidence in addressing racism, facilitating sensitive discussions, and supporting marginalised young people through inclusive approaches.
🎭 Intercultural Exchange
✨ Share your culture through creative performances, poetry, dance, food, or games!
☕ Coffee breaks will feature cultural snack exchanges (vegetarian only).
🎉 Evening sessions will be dedicated to personal culture sharing and connection.
🏡 Accommodation, Food & Travel
🏠 Participants will stay at Le Sorgenti, a peaceful venue run by Consorzio Emmanuel, with 2–3 people per room (same gender, mixed nationalities), each room with a private bathroom.
🥗 Meals are 100% vegetarian (3 meals per day) with coffee/tea breaks twice daily.
✈️ Travel reimbursement limits:
- Italy: no coverage
- Austria, Croatia, Greece, Poland, Sweden: up to €309
- Ireland, Portugal: up to €395
Travel costs are reimbursed after full participation and submission of all required documents. ONDE will also provide free shuttle service from Lecce train or bus station to the venue.

✅ Willing to take part in all project sessions and follow-up dissemination
✅ Committed to creating positive change within their local communities
🏙 Venue & City
📍 The course takes place in Lecce, a stunning Baroque city in southern Italy famous for its historical architecture and vibrant culture. Participants will have free time to explore the city and its surroundings during the programme.
