🚜 Explore the World of Permaculture: Join Asociación Gaia Tasiri for an immersive 9-month experience in permaculture education and regenerative agriculture. Work on a small farm in the picturesque La Palma, Canary Islands, focusing on practical ecological farm tasks, community living, and multicultural volunteer collaboration.
🏡 Accommodation and Living:
- Shared bedrooms in the farm
- Basic facilities (solar shower, compost toilet)
- Internet available in the common space
- Weather conditions: Cold and rainy in winter, hot and dry in summer
🌻 Learn by Doing:
- 7 hours of daily work, including farm tasks, project development, workshops, and community activities
- Training through workshops on permaculture design, composting, microorganisms development, and more
- Enhance confidence and autonomy in ecological farm tasks
🌍 Who We’re Looking For:
- Passionate about the environment, farming, and permaculture
- Willing to learn rural and manual skills, enjoying physical work
- Ready for a 9-month commitment with basic comfort in various weather conditions
- Interested in permaculture design theory, open-minded, and ready to learn
- Basic Spanish proficiency before arrival is a plus
- Preference for candidates with fewer opportunities
