🇹🇷 ESC Volunteering in Türkiye 🌍 Youth Education and Community Volunteer at AGESDER — Autumn Edition 🎯

An English Speaking Club to run. Social media content to create for a language learning Instagram account. Your own project — in arts, culture, sustainable development, or whatever genuinely interests you. And an association in Niğde, Türkiye actively working against discrimination and for equal opportunities for young people, women, and people with disabilities. AGESDER is looking for an ESC volunteer for their autumn/winter placement — a longer edition of their established volunteering programme.

🏢 About AGESDER

AGESDER (Avrupa Gençlik Eğitim ve Spor Derneği) is a youth organisation based in Niğde, Türkiye, running local activities focused on youth information, active citizenship, and social inclusion. Their core aims include adding a European dimension to local volunteering and removing barriers to equal participation in social and economic life.

🎯 The Role

The volunteer will contribute across several activity areas — from language education and social media content to self-initiated projects in any area that interests them. Creativity and initiative are the heart of this placement.

📋 What You’ll Do

🗣️ Organise and run an English Speaking Club — and if desired, sessions in your own language

📱 Create social media content for AGESDER’s English learning Instagram account

🎨 Prepare your own activities in any area of interest — arts and culture, sustainable development, work life, book or film club

🤝 Participate in social responsibility activities with the organisation

🎁 What the Project Provides

🏠 Apartment accommodation approximately 15 minutes by bus from the office — with kitchen and bathroom

🍽️ Food and transport covered by the project

⚕️ Access to good medical care in Niğde

🧑‍🏫 Pre-departure training from the supporting organisation

📋 On-arrival training covering the facility, tasks, and crisis management

📄 A signed contract specifying project conditions, rights, and obligations

AGESDER is looking for a volunteer who brings:
