Are you passionate about sustainability, digital storytelling, and community life? 🌿
Join Living and Growing Together 2024 — an inspiring ESC project by Društvo Lojtra in Litija, where you’ll combine creativity with eco-awareness!

This project focuses on sustainable living, connecting the inner balance of body, mind, and spirit with outer aspects such as community building, permaculture, and self-sufficiency. You’ll help bring sustainability initiatives to life by creating digital content, updating the organization’s website, and documenting local eco-initiatives and farmers through interviews, photos, and videos.

🎯 Your Main Tasks

• 🌱 Research and document local sustainability projects in the Litija region
• 🎥 Create videos, blog posts, and social media content to promote eco-living
• 💻 Upgrade and maintain Lojtra’s website for greater visibility of local initiatives
• 🗣️ Conduct interviews with farmers, artisans, and sustainability advocates
• 🌍 Help spread awareness on environmental responsibility and green lifestyles
• 🎨 Collaborate with the team on creative digital campaigns promoting sustainability

🏡 Accommodation, Food & Allowance

• 🏠 As this project is open to volunteers already residing in Slovenia, accommodation will not be provided.
• 💶 Instead, you’ll receive up to 300 EUR/month to cover your housing costs.
• 🍽️ Daily food allowance (7 EUR/day) and pocket money (5 EUR/day) provided.
• 🚆 All travel expenses related to project activities will be reimbursed.
• 🚌 Good public transport connections to Litija make travel easy and accessible.

🎓 Training & Support Provided

• 🧭 On-Arrival Training Course organized by the Slovenian National Agency
• 🧑‍🏫 Continuous mentorship and learning support from the Lojtra team
• 💡 Up to 4 personal mentoring sessions on website development and digital tools
• 🧠 Guidance on eco-communication, project management, and sustainability storytelling

👥 Who Can Apply?

We are looking for a motivated and creative volunteer who:

• 🌍 Already resides in Slovenia
• 💬 Can communicate in English
• 💻 Has some knowledge or strong motivation to learn web design or content creation
• 🌿 Is interested in sustainable living, green skills, and community action
• 💡 Has curiosity, initiative, and an eagerness to learn and grow
• 🤝 Can work independently while collaborating with a small supportive team
