๐ About the Project
Would you like to make a difference in childrenโs lives while living in one of Germanyโs most creative cities? ๐
Join this long-term ESC volunteering project in Leipzig, where youโll be part of a Montessori kindergarten that focuses on holistic, inclusive, and creative child development.
Here, around 80 children aged 2โ6 learn and play in an environment inspired by the educational philosophy of Maria Montessori โ where independence, curiosity, and diversity are celebrated.
Youโll work with a team of dedicated teachers and social workers to create an inclusive, multicultural atmosphere where every child is encouraged to explore, learn, and grow at their own pace.
๐ฏ Your Main Tasks
- ๐ถ Support teachers inย daily childcare activitiesย and classroom routines
- ๐จ Organizeย creative workshops, storytelling sessions, and games
- ๐งฉ Encourage childrenโs independence usingย Montessori materials and principles
- ๐ Promoteย intercultural learningย among children with diverse backgrounds
- ๐ฌ Support non-German-speaking kids with communication and language games
- ๐ณ Participate inย outdoor activities, playtime, and small excursions
- โค๏ธ Help create an atmosphere of care, respect, and inclusion

๐ฅ Who Can Apply?
Weโre looking for enthusiastic and caring volunteers (aged 18โ30) who are:
- โค๏ธ Passionate about working withย young children under 7 years old
- ๐ Open-minded, patient, and empathetic
- ๐ฃ๏ธ Good communicators who enjoy teamwork
- ๐จ Creative and eager to organize playful, learning-based activities
- ๐ฌ Basic knowledge ofย Germanย is a plus (but not mandatory)
