๐ ESC Individual Volunteering Opportunity in Tรผrkiye
This ESC volunteering project will take place in Erzurum and focuses on youth work, social inclusion, education and community engagement. Volunteers will support different local institutions and initiatives while contributing to activities related to youth participation, social development and cultural exchange.
The project offers volunteers the opportunity to work with universities, public institutions and community organisations while gaining experience in non-formal education, youth engagement and social activities.
โจ Volunteer Activities
๐ข SฤฐTODED Office Activities: supporting project development, partner search, translation tasks and social media activities
๐ Universities (Erzurum Technical University & Atatรผrk University): preparing information sessions and documents about Erasmus+, ESC and Eurodesk while meeting young people
๐ง Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Policies: organising activities for children without family support
๐ Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism: supporting activities in libraries, museums and cultural centres
โฟ Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality: planning and implementing activities for disabled people and women
๐ Accommodation, Food & Financial Support
๐ก Volunteers will stay in a shared apartment in the centre of Erzurum
๐ Apartment includes three bedrooms, kitchen, living room, bathroom and balcony
๐ถ Internet connection, washing machine and heating system available
๐ถ Pocket money: 354 โฌ for the full activity period (59 days)
๐ฝ Monthly food allowance provided
๐ Local transportation allowance provided
๐ Housing costs fully covered by the hosting organisation
๐ Training and Support
๐ Pre-departure training provided by the supporting organisation
๐ On-arrival training organised by the hosting organisation
๐ค Continuous support from SฤฐTODED team and mentors during the project
๐ค Participant Profile
๐ Volunteers aged between 18โ30
๐ฃ Ability to communicate in English
๐ Preferred backgrounds include psychology, sociology, child development, preschool education, special education, counselling and guidance
๐ Tourism, recreation, library, history or fine arts backgrounds also welcomed
๐ก Interest or experience in Sustainable Development Goals, mental health or social entrepreneurship
โจ Motivated volunteers willing to engage in community activities
