An Erasmus+ Training Course will take place in Évora, Portugal, bringing together youth workers from 12 countries to strengthen facilitation competences and improve the quality of non-formal education across Europe.

This project focuses on empowering youth workers, especially those from rural areas with limited access to professional development, by equipping them with practical methodologies, inclusive facilitation strategies and digital tools.

Évora is a historic municipality in Portugal, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986. With a population of around 53,500 inhabitants, the city reflects a multicultural heritage shaped by Roman, Islamic, Jewish and Christian influences. Landmarks include the Roman Temple, the Cathedral (Sé), the Chapel of Bones and the Palace of D. Manuel.

📌 Develop facilitation competencies through interactive, learner-centered methodologies applicable in organizations and Erasmus+ projects
📌 Improve the quality of non-formal education using inclusive facilitation techniques and digital learning tools
📌 Strengthen youth workers’ capacity to create accessible learning environments for disadvantaged youth, particularly from rural areas
📌 Integrate sustainability and digitalisation into youth work practices
📌 Promote international cooperation and long-term partnerships for future Erasmus+ projects
