Experience Europe with us is a European Solidarity Corps individual volunteering opportunity hosted by Maison de l’Europe de l’Eure โ Centre Europe Direct in รvreux, France. The activity takes place at Augustin Hรฉbert High School, an International Vocational Education and Training (VET) school. The project offers a diverse set of educational, cultural and communication activities aimed at promoting European values, youth mobility, intercultural dialogue and sustainable development through innovative, participatory methods.

๐งฉ Main Activities and Tasks
๐ช๐บ Communicating about Europe using innovative and interactive methods
โ Participating in the creation and facilitation of a language cafรฉ workshop
๐ฌ Creating and moderating film debate workshops linked to the American Film Festival and preparing visits
๐ถ๐ญ๐ฝ๏ธ Co-leading small student groups on cultural themes such as music, theatre, gastronomy and architecture
โ๏ธ Writing articles and content for the website and social media channels
๐ป Using digital tools recommended by the school including ENT, Pronote, website tools and Kahoot
๐ Supporting educational and cultural workshops with young people
๐ฑ Raising awareness on eco-responsible practices and the UN Sustainable Development Goals
โป๏ธ Supporting the schoolโs sustainable development team and student engagement actions
๐ก Accommodation, Food and Transport
๐ Accommodation provided in รvreux city center close to the office, high school and central station
๐ก Utilities including electricity and water covered
๐ฅ Health insurance provided for the entire project duration
๐ Local transport costs covered when required for activities
โ๏ธ International travel costs reimbursed according to EU distance calculator
๐ Training and Support During the Activity
๐ On-arrival training organised for the volunteer
๐ค Ongoing training and mentoring by Maison de l’Europe staff
๐ช๐บ Participation in National Agency seminars
๐๏ธ Informal networking and gathering days organised by partner organisations
