๐งญ About the Opportunity
Thisย European Solidarity Corpsย volunteering opportunity takes place inย Agen, France, hosted byย Maison de l’Europe de Lot-et-Garonne, in cooperation withย Ligue de l’Enseignement 47.
The project focuses on youth participation, civic engagement, and social inclusion, offering volunteers the chance to actively support the design, implementation, and promotion of youth-oriented events and projects at local, regional, and European levels. Volunteers will work closely with experienced tutors and will never be left alone to supervise groups.

This opportunity is ideal for young people interested in youth work, event organisation, civic education, communication, and social topics such as discrimination, sustainability, European mobility, and active citizenship.
๐ฏ Main Activities
๐ค Supporting the organisation of youth events, trainings, and gatherings
๐ค Assisting working groups at departmental and regional level
๐ณ๏ธ Contributing to the Opinion Festival (themes, guests, preparation)
๐ฌ Supporting โLa Parole des Jeunesโ, a youth debate group linked to the International Journalism Festival
๐ฒ Creating animations, games, and educational tools on topics such as discrimination, harassment, sustainability, secularism, and European mobility
๐ Supporting homework-help workshops for young people
๐จ Designing visual materials and supporting communication with volunteers and partners

๐ Accommodation, Food & Financial Support
๐ก Accommodation provided in a studio located 10 minutes by bike from the organisation
๐ฒ Bicycle provided by the host organisation
โ๏ธ Travel costs covered by the European Solidarity Corps
๐ถ Pocket money and insurance provided according to ESC rules
๐ Training & Mentoring
๐ฅ Continuous tutoring by:
โข A civic service referent (administrative support, project review, future planning)
โข A dedicated tutor within Ligue de lโEnseignement (daily guidance, mission follow-up, integration support)
๐ Support with integration, city discovery, and interaction with other French and European volunteers
