๐งญ Project Overview
This European Solidarity Corps individual volunteering opportunity takes place in Bitonto, Puglia (Italy) and is implemented by Associazione Regen ETS in cooperation with Associazione Costiera Amalfitana Riserva Biosfera. The project โLETโS REGENERATE!โ immerses volunteers in a living agroforestry farm dedicated to permaculture, regenerative agriculture, ecology, and bio-construction, combining hands-on practice with structured learning.
๐ Context and Mission
Regen operates an agroforestry ecosystem with 15,000+ fruit trees, shrubs, herbaceous plants, and vegetable gardens. For over 8 years, the association has delivered trainings on agroforestry, soil regeneration, hydrological management, bio-construction, and ecological design, collaborating on agroecological models that restore land while strengthening communities.
๐ Volunteer Tasks and Daily Activities
๐ณ Participate in agroforestry management and field observation
โ๏ธ Support pruning and rational organization of organic matter
๐ฑ Build and manage plant nurseries and planting activities
๐พ Learn and apply soil regeneration methods (composting, biofertilizers, biochar)
๐๏ธ Contribute to eco-building and practical farm infrastructure
๐ Assist in training courses for youth and adults (theory + practice)
๐ฃ Support communication and community activities when relevant

๐ฟ Use of plant-based, fully biodegradable toiletries encouraged

๐ 18โ30 years old
๐ Resident of an eligible Erasmus+ Programme Country
๐ง Open-minded, curious, committed to ecology and regeneration
๐ ๏ธ Interest or skills in agriculture, eco-building, carpentry, communication or social media (a plus)
๐ค Team-oriented, proactive, and ready for physical outdoor work
๐ฃ๏ธ English or Italian communication skills
