This European Solidarity Corps individual volunteering opportunity takes place in Livarot-Pays dโAuge, France, coordinated by the Comitรฉ de jumelage LivarotโSouth Molton under the Dรฉpartement du Calvados. The project โTogether at All Ages (Ensemble ร tout รขge)โ focuses on intergenerational dialogue, intercultural exchange, active citizenship, inclusion, and sustainability within a small rural community.
๐ฏ Project Aim
To strengthen social cohesion by connecting young people and elderly residents through European cooperation, community initiatives, sustainable living practices, and cultural exchange activities.
๐ Volunteer Tasks and Daily Activities
๐ฑ Support the creation of a new European partnership for the twinning committee
๐ช๐บ Help establish and run a Europe Club to promote exchange and European awareness
๐ Contribute to the organisation of Europe Day 2026 activities
๐ฟ Take part in the creation of a community garden and promotion of sustainable lifestyles
๐ต๐ง Build intergenerational bridges between young and elderly residents
๐ Facilitate activities such as storytelling, music workshops, creative sessions, and the creation of a community recipe book
๐ค Raise awareness on inclusion, ageing, and elderly care
๐ซ Work across local structures including schools, retirement homes, leisure centres, and community organisations

๐ Aged 18โ30
๐ Resident of an eligible Erasmus+ Programme Country
๐ค Curious, social, and creative personality
๐ฑ Interest in sustainability, eco-friendly practices, and community life
๐ซ Motivated to work with people of different ages and backgrounds
๐ก Comfortable living in a small rural town
๐ฃ๏ธ Knowledge of French is appreciated but not required
