Valo-Valmennusyhdistys ry is a national non-profit organisation based in Jyvรคskylรค, Finland, working to improve access to learning, employment, wellbeing, and civic participation. Through this European Solidarity Corps individual volunteering opportunity, volunteers will actively contribute to civic engagement, communication, and community-based activities that support people in vulnerable life situations.

This long-term volunteering experience offers hands-on involvement in communication, event organisation, and civic participation, while developing professional and personal skills in a supportive and inclusive environment.

This opportunity is ideal for young people who:

๐ Want to gain experience in newsletters, social media, and event organisation

๐ฑ Are motivated, open-minded, and eager to learn
๐ฌ Have an interest in developing communication and social media skills
No previous experience is required.
๐ฏ Main Activities
๐ข Supporting communication tasks (newsletters, social media, internal communication)
๐ณ๏ธ Assisting in civic engagement and participation activities
๐ Helping organise events and community initiatives
๐ค Working closely with the Valo team and project mentor
๐ Developing project planning and teamwork skills
