Duration: 21 weeks (09/10/2023 – 10/03/2024) Location: Rybnik, Silesia, Poland
Join the exciting volunteering project at MDK Youth Center in Rybnik and immerse yourself in a unique cultural experience!
About the Project:
- Overcome language barriers in Rybnik and promote openness to new cultures
- Showcase the impact of EU funds on local communities
- Engage in intercultural communication and community building
- Work with children, youth, and seniors to create a vibrant community
- Develop your language skills and learn about Polish culture
Benefits and Arrangements:
- Receive 120 EUR/month as pocket money
- Get 100 EUR/month for food expenses
- Stay in a furnished single room in a shared flat
- Enjoy a monthly public transport ticket
- Receive travel grant based on your home country’s distance
- Participate in on-arrival training by the Polish National Agency
- Access to local mentor, insurance, and Polish language course
Participant Profile:
- Aged 18-30, with genuine motivation for the experience
- Enthusiastic about living and working in Rybnik
- Interest in working with children, youth, and seniors
- Eager to learn and teach foreign languages
- Embrace cultural exchange and intercultural communication
- Previous experience in cultural and social activities is a plus
