Join this meaningful ESC experience at Lumea Lui Pinocchio Daily Center in Panciu, Romania 🇷🇴, supporting disadvantaged children — many from Roma communities — by providing a safe space, emotional support and creative learning opportunities. The center offers children warm meals, homework help and daily non-formal activities designed to boost confidence, creativity, fine motor skills and social inclusion. Volunteers help deliver craft-based activities that encourage teamwork, patience, cultural awareness and self-expression, while contributing to a warm, inclusive and supportive environment.

💼 What You Will Do

✨ Plan and deliver daily handicraft activities
✨ Support children in developing fine motor skills and problem-solving abilities
✨ Encourage creativity, teamwork, patience and self-expression
✨ Incorporate social inclusion and cultural awareness in activities
✨ Assist children with homework and school tasks
✨ Work with staff and volunteers to maintain a safe and inclusive environment
✨ Promote equal opportunities and child rights
✨ Facilitate positive learning experiences through non-formal methods

🏠 Accommodation, Food & Transport

🏡 Volunteers stay in a dedicated apartment close to the center (max. 3 people per room).
🍽️ Monthly food allowance provided for groceries.
💶 Pocket money of 4€/day included.
🚶‍♂️ Walking distance to the center for easy access.

🎓 Training During the Activity

📘 Non-formal education sessions supported by teachers and staff
🧭 Constant mentor support ensuring meaningful learning
🇪🇺 On-Arrival Training and Mid-Term Evaluation provided by the National Agency
