✨ About the Project:
Join us in Buccino, a historic gem in Salerno, Italy, for a month-long experience focused on:
- 🌱 Permaculture: Discover sustainable gardening and environmental practices.
- 🎨 Handicrafts: Dive into traditional crafts and learn creative techniques.
- 🌍 Cultural Discovery: Participate in ethnographic research and explore local traditions, including Carnival celebrations and St. Joseph’s bonfires.
- 🤝 Community Connection: Collaborate with local youth forums and organizations to create lasting connections and promote cultural exchange.
This inclusive initiative welcomes participants with fewer opportunities, ensuring a diverse and enriching experience.
🏠 Accommodation & Benefits:
- Stay in Casa Mòvesi, located in Buccino’s historic center.
- Fully equipped kitchen for self-managed meals.
- Shared rooms with limited Wi-Fi in some areas due to historical architecture.
- Travel Costs: Reimbursed as per ESC guidelines (additional budget for Green Travel).
🎓 Training & Support:
Guided by Giuseppe Castellucci, a versatile trainer skilled in:
- Videography
- Outdoor education
- Permaculture and nature-based living
Participants will gain hands-on skills and knowledge in cultural heritage and sustainable practices.
👤 Participant Profile:
- Aged 18-30, motivated to learn and share knowledge on permaculture, crafts, and cultural heritage.
- Skilled in gardening, handicrafts, and/or creating digital content (video, audio, photography).
- Open-minded and curious, ready to connect with locals and immerse in Buccino’s traditions.
