This ESC project promotes solidarity, inclusion, and active ageing, empowering young volunteers to bring companionship, joy, and human connection to older citizens โ€” while developing valuable skills and experiences for their own future.


๐ŸŒ About the Project

This initiative aims to reduce social isolation among elderly people through youth-led community actions that encourage inclusion, care, and respect across generations.

Volunteers will support daily activities that promote:
๐Ÿ’ฌ Companionship and conversation with elderly residents.
๐ŸŒผ Emotional well-being and social participation.
๐ŸŽจ Creative, recreational, and educational activities.
๐Ÿก Inclusion, respect, and mutual learning between youth and seniors.

The project helps young people develop their personal, social, and civic skills through non-formal education and reflection sessions validated by the Youthpass certificate.

๐ŸŒ Promote solidarity between generations through daily interactions with elderly citizens.

๐Ÿ’ก Learn about active ageingsocial responsibility, and volunteering ethics.

๐Ÿ  Accommodation, Meals & Support

๐Ÿก Volunteers will stay in shared, fully equipped flats provided by the host organisation.
๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Meals will be provided either through on-site catering or a monthly food allowance.
๐Ÿš† All local transport related to project activities will be covered.
โœจ Living conditions meet Erasmus+ safety and comfort standards.
