🌾 About the Project

You’ll be part of the Sieben Linden Ecovillage, a pioneering intentional community where sustainability is more than a concept — it’s a daily practice.

As a volunteer, your main mission is to work outdoors, growing vegetables, fruits, and herbs for the community. From seed to harvest, you’ll experience a full growing season while learning the principles of organic farming and permaculture.

💚 You’ll also have the freedom to design your own personal sustainability project, using your creativity and interests — whether it’s environmental education, art, or community initiatives.

🌱 What You’ll Do

🌾 Help grow and harvest over 50 types of vegetables, herbs, and fruits.
🌻 Learn organic farming techniques, including composting and soil care.
🧑‍🌾 Join the garden team in daily outdoor activities and teamwork.
🌍 Explore sustainability, permaculture, and ecological living.
💡 Develop your own personal or community project related to sustainability or solidarity.

🏡 Accommodation, Food & Community Life

🏠 You’ll live in a shared area of the ecovillage known as “JuLe-Platz” with other young volunteers.
🚐 Accommodation consists of shared caravans and a communal kitchen, creating a warm and eco-friendly living space.
🍽️ Meals are community-based, using local and organic ingredients.
🚍 The village is located in a rural area, with a nearby bus stop connecting to Wolfsburg and other cities.

Every week, volunteers meet with facilitators for group reflection sessions, creativity, and personal growth.

📘 German language support is provided as needed.
🎓 You’ll attend two official ESC seminars – On-Arrival and Mid-Term Training.
🌿 Optional eco-education seminars are available at the community’s learning centre.
