Join youth workers from across Europe for a transformative experience in Sezginler Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School Training Hotel, Türkiye! This 8-day Erasmus+ KA153 Training Course focuses on strengthening youth workers’ environmental awareness, waste management, and climate action skills through hands-on non-formal education. 🌍✨
Organised by the Sakarya Governorship – EU and Foreign Affairs Department, the project empowers participants to integrate sustainability into their daily youth work and inspire young people toward greener, more responsible lifestyles. 🌱
🌎 About the Project
“Acknowledge Youth’s Potential for Environmental Sustainability” brings together 33 youth workers from Türkiye 🇹🇷, Romania 🇷🇴, Italy 🇮🇹, Spain 🇪🇸, Portugal 🇵🇹, Slovakia 🇸🇰, North Macedonia 🇲🇰, and Poland 🇵🇱.
Over 8 days of immersive learning (8–15 November 2026), participants will explore how environmental education can be applied in youth work through interactive and experience-based methods — including:
♻️ Workshops and outdoor learning
☀️ Renewable energy and recycling sessions
💬 Group reflections and collaborative tool design
🌿 Peer learning and best-practice sharing
🌱 What You Will Experience
During six intensive days of non-formal learning, participants will:
🌍 Explore sustainability topics like waste management, recycling, renewable energy, carbon footprint reduction, and water conservation.
🧠 Take part in interactive workshops and outdoor activities that connect theory to practice.
🤝 Collaborate in multicultural teams to design tools for youth environmental engagement.
💡 Exchange best practices with international organisations to inspire new projects under Erasmus+ and ESC.
🎯 Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, participants will:
🌿 Strengthen their methodological toolkit in environmental education.
💪 Improve their capacity to engage youth in sustainability projects.
🌍 Build international partnerships for future Erasmus+ or ESC initiatives.
🌱 Develop inclusive and eco-friendly practices for community impact.
👥 Who Can Apply?
This course is open to youth workers who are:
✅ Actively involved in youth-focused organisations.
✅ Passionate about sustainability and non-formal education.
✅ Motivated to share project results locally.
✅ Interested in future Erasmus+ collaborations.
Each partner country will send 4 youth workers (including one with fewer opportunities).
