✨ Project Overview

Become part of Proyecto Kieu in Numancia de la Sagra (Toledo), Spain, and take part in an inspiring volunteering journey that connects environmental education and youth empowerment. 🌿

Through the SAGRA GREEN JOURNEY, you’ll help promote ecological awareness, sustainability, and community engagement — while gaining valuable experience in youth work and intercultural collaboration.

💡 What You’ll Do

• 🌱 Participate in environmental education activities in community gardens and eco-projects
• 👩‍🏫 Teach and motivate young people to adopt sustainable lifestyles
• 🎨 Support creative, recreational, and cultural activities for youth
• 💬 Facilitate participation, teamwork, and personal development workshops
• 🤝 Collaborate with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds

You’ll help foster social inclusion, intercultural dialogue, and ecological responsibility — all while discovering the beauty and spirit of La Sagra.

🏡 Accommodation, Food & Transport

• Volunteers stay in a shared house (2–3 people per room) with other ESC volunteers — total capacity: 8 volunteers
• Food, accommodation, and transport are fully covered by the programme
• Travel budget provided according to Erasmus+ distance calculator
• The local team ensures safe, supportive living conditions and access to nearby facilities

🎓 Training & Support

• On-arrival training organised by Proyecto Kieu team
• One-week national training by the Spanish National Agency
• Mentoring, personal guidance, and continuous support during the activity

👤 Who Can Apply

We’re looking for motivated, open-minded young people (18–30) who are:

• Passionate about sustainability and environmental education
• Social, collaborative, and comfortable working with youth
• Ready to take initiative and show leadership
• Willing to learn Spanish and engage with the local community
