Do you enjoy spending time with children, being creative, and working in nature? 🌻
Join Ecole des Petits Chemins, a unique alternative kindergarten and primary school in Lessive, Belgium, where education is built around creativity, cooperation, and the natural environment.

Hosted by Association des Compagnons Bâtisseurs (CBB), this European Solidarity Corps project offers volunteers the chance to experience innovative, child-centered learning. You’ll assist teachers, support daily activities, and bring your own creativity to the classroom while discovering Belgium’s beautiful countryside and its warm community spirit. 🌳🎨

📍 Location

Rochefort / Lessive, Belgium 🇧🇪
Volunteers stay in a shared house in Rochefort, fully equipped and shared with other ESC participants. Daily transport to school is provided free of charge.

🎯 Main Activities

🧒 Assist teachers in kindergartens and primary school classes
🎨 Take part in creative workshops (painting, music, weaving, storytelling, clay art…)
🌲 Join outdoor activities like forest walks, farm visits, and nature play
🤝 Support inclusive and cooperative learning approaches
💡 Design and lead your own small activity once settled

🍽️ Accommodation & Living

• Free accommodation in a shared, fully equipped volunteer house
• Monthly allowance and food money provided
• Volunteers cook their own meals
• Free daily transport between home and school

You’ll receive:
📚 On-arrival and mid-term training (National Agency Belgium)
🏕️ Workshops and residential weekends with CBB volunteers
💬 French language lessons
🎓 Optional camp leader training
