🌍 About the Project
Join a vibrant team in Sundsvall, where creativity meets inclusion!
This ESC volunteering project invites young people from across Europe to help shape inclusive and engaging leisure activities for local youth — where everyone is welcome, regardless of background or ability.
You’ll support and co-create:
🎨 Creative workshops and leisure activities for young people
🤝 Inclusive projects that promote equality and participation
🎬 Artistic and multimedia initiatives (film, art, and events)
🧑🤝🧑 Activities for children with disabilities
💬 Cultural exchange sessions that celebrate diversity
The goal? To strengthen youth participation, foster mutual understanding, and promote European values of democracy and inclusion through creativity and cooperation.
🏡 Accommodation, Food & Transport
🏠 Volunteers stay in a shared 4-room apartment (private bedrooms, shared kitchen & common area).
🍽️ Monthly allowance of approximately 5,000 SEK for food and personal expenses.
✈️ Travel to and from Sweden is arranged and covered by the host organisation.
🎓 Participation in pre-arrival and mid-term seminars organised by the Swedish National Agency.
🎓 Training & Mentorship
📘 On-arrival & midterm training by the National Agency.
💬 Swedish language lessons through SFI (Swedish for Immigrants).
🎨 Continuous guidance and mentorship from the local Kultur & Fritid team.
👥 Participant Profile
We’re looking for 3 motivated volunteers (18–30 years old) who are:
✅ Interested in working with youth, inclusion, and creativity
✅ Passionate about art, filming, or social projects
✅ Open-minded, proactive, and team-oriented
✅ Motivated to learn Swedish and promote European values
✅ Ready to commit for one year and make a lasting social impact
Applications must be written in English.
