A local youth and cultural association dedicated to environmental protection, rural development, and active citizenship. It promotes sustainable tourism, mountain conservation, and community participation through volunteering and intercultural experiences.

🌍 About the Project

The Mountain and Rural Empowerment project focuses on preserving and maintaining the breathtaking mountain landscapes of Roccantica, a medieval gem in central Italy.

Volunteers will take part in:

• 🌲 Cleaning and maintaining mountain trails
• 🎨 Painting and marking paths with the iconic white and red hiking symbols
• 🏕️ Supporting maintenance of a mountain hut located 1000 meters above sea level
• 🌿 Promoting sustainable outdoor tourism and helping locals protect their environment

Beyond the physical work, volunteers bring new energy and international spirit to a rural area with limited opportunities — empowering both the community and themselves. 🌍🤝

🏠 Accommodation, Food & Transport

• 🏡 Accommodation at Alla Rocca – Ostello del Tempo Perso, a charming youth hostel in the village of Roccantica
