About Jugendwerk der AWO Württemberg:
- Nonprofit NGO focusing on non-formal education, intercultural projects, youth camps, and more.
- Objective: Support young people in personal development, improve social, cultural, and educational skills.
Activities:
- Seminars in non-formal education.
- Youth travel and international youth work.
- Coordination of local projects and groups.
Accommodation & Arrangements:
- Stay in a student dormitory with your own room.
- Monthly allowance provided.
- Volunteer will be responsible for cooking (sometimes with your ESC Buddy).
Training During the Activity:
- On-arrival and mid-term training organized by the German National Agency.
- Additional seminars on pedagogy, first aid, and more.
Participant Profile:
- English/German language skills for integration.
- Comfortable with office work: writing emails, creating flyers, etc.
