Join Ankara Eğitim Gönüllüleri Derneği (ANDER) in Ankara, Türkiye for the Be Volunteer Be Aware project! This short-term ESC volunteering experience brings together 10 international volunteers from across Europe for 2 months of cultural exchange, social inclusion, and youth empowerment.

🌟 About the Project
“Be Volunteer Be Aware” focuses on youth engagement, cultural exchange, music, creativity, and social inclusion. Volunteers will work with local schools, youth centers, universities, and NGOs while developing their personal and professional skills.
Core activities include:
- 🎨 Creative workshops in schools: painting, games, English practice, sports.
- 🎥 Video creation & editing on Erasmus+, ESC, youth inclusion & cultural diversity.
- 📝 Weekly planning & evaluation meetings.
- 🖋️ Blog writing to document volunteering experiences.
- 🗣️ English Speaking Clubs for local young people.
- 🤝 Workshops on youth inclusion, democracy, and active citizenship.
- 💛 LÖSEV volunteering with children affected by leukemia.
- 📱 Social media content creation (Instagram & YouTube).
- 🛒 Aid & inclusion activities – packing & distributing food for those in need.
- 🌍 Cultural exchange events – presenting traditions, food, music, and dances.
- 🏢 Office support – assisting with daily administration and communication tasks.
- 💡 Training sessions on motivation letters, ESC opportunities & EU youth programs.
🏠 Accommodation, Food & Travel
- Shared apartment with other volunteers (2–3 per room).
- Equipped with WiFi, washing machine, kitchen utensils & basic necessities.
- Pocket money + food allowance provided monthly (in line with ESC rates).
- Local transport card provided 🚍.
- Travel expenses reimbursed according to ESC distance rules (with receipts).
- Visa and residence permit costs covered within budget limits.
- Insurance arranged through HENNER.
🎓 Training & Support
- Turkish language courses (4 hours/week).
- Non-formal education workshops.
- Cultural activities: festivals, folk dance, local tours 🕌🎶.
- Pre-departure, on-arrival & mid-term training provided.
- Youthpass Certificate for recognition of competences at the end.
👤 Participant Profile
- 18–30 years old.
- Creative, curious, open-minded, and responsible.
- Team players with interest in youth, culture, inclusion, and social media.
- Experience with Canva, video editing, or content creation is a plus.
- Motivated to discover Turkish culture & history.

EU Member States + neighboring countries (Albania, Armenia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Georgia, North Macedonia, Moldova, Serbia, Ukraine, etc.)
